Airlines and routes,

Travelling as a family isn’t always easy, with different ages and interests to think of, planning a holiday to suit the whole family can be a challening task. However, it is well worth it, as a family holiday is one of the best ways to spend quality time together and create unforgettable memories. If you’re in need of some inspiration, here are some of the top countries in the world to visit as a family.

Mexico is a very popular tourist destination with its gorgeous beaches and impressive cultural events. It is also great for families looking for a variety of activities to suit a range of ages and interests.

It has several all-inclusive resorts that are family-friendly with round-the-clock kids clubs and entertainment for the little ones. This is ideal for parents that want to soak up the sun, sea and sand on a more relaxed holiday.

For those wanting a bit more adventure, there are several cultural festivals and guided excursions to really appreciate the natural beauty of the country. Take your kids to explore and dive into the several cenotes dotted around, and help them to discover the fascinating wildlife in the depths of this gorgeous country.

Vietnam is a country with a rich history and culture, as well as stunning scenic routes and natural beauty all around. If you have adventurous kids that are keen to learn about history as well as appreciate a good beach, then Vietnam is the place for your family.

Your kids can immerse themselves that the Mekong Delta, where they can learn all about the Vietnam War and then go for a swim at the beach for a whole day out of adventure and fun.

If you’d like to delve a bit deeper into the history of this fascinating country, then make sure to take your kids to the Cu Chi Tunnels in Ho Chi Minh. They give you a first-hand look at history and your little ones can crawl through the interesting tunnels.

Japan is a family favourite for most people, from the delicious food to the immersive culture, you are sure to find something for everyone to enjoy. Before heading to Tokyo, make a pit stop in Nagoya, where your kids can have all the fun they like at LEGOLAND.

The best thing about LEGOLAND in Japan is that every restaurant serves various types of noodles for everyone to taste before picking their favourite.

Japan is also home to Tokyo Disneyland for those wanting to explore the wonderful world of Disney from an Asian perspective. It promises to offer a fantastic day out with incredible rides, attractions and even more yummy food.

Dubai is in the heart of the world and offers a lot for families looking for a holiday with a variety of different things to do. There are so many kid-friendly activities for your kids to take part in, depending on their preferences and interests.

This Middle Eastern jewel is home to some of the most thrilling waterparks and outdoor activities that can be enjoyed in the constant all-year-round warm weather. You can have all the water-splashing fun at Wild Wadi Waterpark and Aquaventure Waterpark, or take your kids on an exhilarating desert safari to ride up and down some sand dunes.

If your kids are a bit younger in age, then there is the amazing land of KidZania. It is a scaled-down city run by your children where tiny tots can do everything from learning to drive to attending university. There is also Trampo Extreme, a massive indoor trampoline park where kids as young as two years old can bounce their way through this internal wonderland of fun.

France has something for everyone with its world-famous cultural attractions and incredibly tasty cuisine. The Eiffel Tower is a massive hit with kids as well as adults, and there is something special about watching it light up at night together as a family.

A massive family favourite is, of course, Disneyland Paris, and while it may be smaller than Walt Disney World in Florida, it still provides the same magic for kids and adults.

If your kids are a bit older in age, then they may enjoy a visit to the Louvre in the heart of Paris where they see the famous Mona Lisa. Another great museum to take your kids to is Cité des Sciences et de l’Industrie, which offers plenty of fun interactive games to keep them entertained.

Portugal has the ideal mix of city and beach, accommodating to most families that would like a holiday filled with both adventure and relaxation.

It is popular with families due to its warm year-round climate, reasonable prices and friendly English-speaking locals. If you're after a beach holiday, the Algarve is famous for its stunning beaches and offers some of the best sea and sand in Europe.

Portugal’s capital city, Lisbon is a colourful place with tile buildings to explore and incredible food spots to hit. A great way to explore the vibrant city is by taking the famous tram that takes you up and down the main roads and saves your little ones from walking too much whilst enjoying the fun ride!

Similar to Portugal, Spain has a warm year-round climate that makes it a family favourite to visit in any season. It is filled with interesting educational museums and gorgeous sand beaches for kids of all ages to enjoy.

Spain is famous for its football frenzy and massive European teams, such as Real Madrid and FC Barcelona, so if your kids are really into football, then catching a live game or stadium tour on the famous grounds would be a great treat for them.

The famous Spanish Island, Tenerife, is also home to one of the biggest waterparks in the world. Siam Park is 18 hectares big and provides endless fun for the whole family to splash feet first into. Spain really has something for everyone, your kids will fall in love with the warm weather and delicious food on offer in this European hot spot, while you can sip some sangria in the Spanish sun.
