Arrival times and other important information

As always, we’re looking forward to welcoming you to the airport and we’re working hard to make sure your trip runs as smoothly as possible. To help with this process, please be aware of the following:
 

Consider your arrival times

Allow three hours to check-in before your flight and make sure all your travel documents are up-to-date. Please do not turn up significantly early for your flight though, as this can cause unnecessary congestion in the airport and you may not be able to check in your bags.

 

Remove liquids from hand luggage 

Remember, you can only take liquids on the plane that are in individual containers with a maximum capacity of 100ml. This includes creams, gels, pastes, aerosols and make-up. 

Remove each item from hand luggage and place them all in a single transparent, re-sealable plastic bag of not more than one litre capacity. Each bag must be able to close properly with all the items inside. These bags are available free-of-charge before security. Passengers are strictly limited to one bag of liquids per person.

 

Airline and route moves

Some airlines have moved terminals this summer.  You should always keep in touch with your airline to confirm which terminal your flight departs from before travelling to the airport. 

 

Terminal Drop-Off Charge

A £5 charge applies to vehicles dropping off passengers at the designated drop-off zones, located directly outside the terminals. Discounts and exemptions apply. Free drop-off is available at our Long Stay car parks.

    How it works

    1. Make a purchase and request Home Delivery

      Then just leave your purchases with us. We'll look after them and have them delivered to your door to enjoy when you return home. 

    2. Available to everyone

      Free Home Delivery is available to all departing passengers when delivering to a UK mainland address. (See T&Cs below)

    3. Available at every outlet

      The Home Delivery service is available on all items at all shops in the departure lounge at Heathrow, excluding alcohol and cigarettes. 

    4. Earn more points for even more value

      Heathrow Rewards members will collect 100 extra points and Heathrow Rewards Premium members 150 extra points when using our Home Delivery service.

    Free UK Home Delivery is available to all passengers (International and Domestic). Applicable to all products, excluding duty-free products (alcohol and cigarettes) sold from World Duty Free. Free UK delivery is available when registered Heathrow Rewards members spend £300 or more and present their Heathrow Reward card at the time of purchase. Free delivery is available to non-Heathrow Rewards members when they spend £500 or more. The purchaser is required to give complete delivery details at the time of purchase including a full UK postcode and contact telephone number for the recipient. Heathrow cannot be responsible for undelivered items when the correct delivery information has not been provided.

    The maximum insurable value of £20,000 per delivery. Maximum weight of 20kgs per delivery. Deliveries will be made within ten working days of purchase and are only available to UK mainland residential addresses. A signature is required at the destination address as proof of receipt. Three delivery attempts will be made, if the delivery is unsuccessful after this time, the goods will be returned to us and we will contact you to make new arrangements for delivery.
