Terminal Drop-Off Charge

From 1 November 2021, a £5 charge will apply for vehicles dropping off passengers at the designated drop-off zones, located directly outside the terminals. Discounts and exemptions will apply. Free drop-off will be available at the Long Stay car parks.

Changes to entering the UK using EU ID cards

From 1 October 2021, most EU, EEA and Swiss nationals will need to use a valid passport to travel to the UK. ID cards will no longer be accepted as a valid travel document to enter the UK, though some exemptions will apply.

    Full Name: Columbus Airport
    Location: The airport is located six miles (10km) northeast of the central business district of Columbus.
    Time: GMT -5 (GMT -4 from mid-March to the first Sunday in November).
    Transfer to the City:

    The Metra city bus has service to the airport. The stop is located across from the northwest corner of the airport on Airport Thruway, at Wal-Mart. Taxis and limousines are also available.

    Car rental:

    Car hire companies operating from the airport include Avis, Budget, Enterprise, Hertz, and National.


    Airport facilities are limited, but include ATMs, vending machines, a news stand and gift shop, a restaurant, and a Pet Pavilion.


    Parking lots are open from 4.30am to 11.30pm, and cash or credit cards are accepted. Short-term parking is charged at $1 for the first 30 minutes, $2 for an hour, and $1 per hour thereafter, up to a maximum daily rate of $8. Long-term parking is $2 for the first hour and $1 per hour thereafter, with a maximum daily charge of $7.
