From 1 November 2021, a £5 charge will apply for vehicles dropping off passengers at the designated drop-off zones, located directly outside the terminals. Discounts and exemptions will apply. Free drop-off will be available at the Long Stay car parks.

Changes to entering the UK using EU ID cards

From 1 October 2021, most EU, EEA and Swiss nationals will need to use a valid passport to travel to the UK. ID cards will no longer be accepted as a valid travel document to enter the UK, though some exemptions will apply.

    Transfer to the City:

    The IDELIS shuttle service offers travellers access to Pau's town centre and train station. The shuttle departs every hour between 7am and 7.33pm, Monday to Saturday, from the IDELIS bus stop just to the right of the terminal building exit. Tickets can be purchased from the shuttle driver. The journey to the train station takes approximately 30 minutes.

    Car rental companies represented at this airport include Avis, Europcar, Sixt and Hertz.

    Facilities:

    Airport facilities include shopping (duty-free shopping available in the departure area), a restaurant, a snack bar, a bank, a post office, newsagents, and a tourist information area.

    Parking:

    There are two parking areas available at Pau Airport providing 1,300 parking bays. For long-term parking, travellers are advised to park in P2 as it offers great value for money for those parking for more than 24 hours. For drop-offs or pick-ups, this airport offers 30 minutes of free parking. Parking rates range from €2.10 (for one hour) to €37 (for 72 hours).
