There are many options and it really depends on whether you are looking for speed, convenience or keeping the cost down.
Heathrow has a range of parking products that are suitable for all needs and requirements.
Our cheapest parking option is our Park & Ride service, formerly known as Long Stay, with transfer times to the terminal taking 15-minutes. Park & Ride Plus, previously Business Parking, uses business-class shuttles, dropping you off at the terminal ultra-efficiently.
Short Stay car parks are the closest to all the terminals, just a short walk from arrivals or departures, whilst our premium Meet & Greet Parking, with drop-off in the Short Stay car parks, or Valet Parking, where drop-offs are made on the terminal forecourts represent maximum convenience.
Finally, our Terminal 5 POD Parking sees you transported from the car park to Terminal 5 in as little as six-minutes in our driverless, on-demand vehicles.
We recommend pre-booking parking in advance to get the best rates, and you can also cancel or amend your booking up to two-hours before your arrival time for free.
Follow directions for your Heathrow Terminal – the Short Stay car parks are clearly signposted from the approach roads. The terminals are just a short walk away.

Local charging stations with fast and rapid-charging facilities can be found here.
Yes, there are. Depending on the type of vehicle you are driving and where in London you are driving to, you may need to pay the Congestion Charge, Ultra Low Emission Zone (ULEZ) and/or the Low Emission Zone (LEZ) charges.
You can learn more by entering your vehicle registration number on the Transport for London website. All payments can be made online.
If you’re hiring a car, you’ll be responsible for paying all charges and tolls. Please bear in mind that you won’t know the registration number of your vehicle until the day you pick it up.
Yes and we have introduced a £5 charge for vehicles entering the drop-off areas. You can pay in advance, on the day you drop-off, or by midnight the next day. You cannot pay at an airport ticket machine or in the terminal drop-off zones.
Yes, you can pick-up passengers from Heathrow, however, it is prohibited to wait on the terminal forecourts. Instead, please park in one of our Short Stay car parks, and pay at a pay-on-foot machine, or one of our Park & Ride car parks, where the first 30 minutes are free.
