What is Terminal Parking?

Just a short distance from your chosen terminal, Terminal Parking, previously known as Short Stay Parking, is ideal for anyone seeking a convenient start and finish to their airport journey, as well as for making passenger drop-offs or pick-ups.

For durations over nine hours, Terminal Parking can, subject to availability, be pre-booked in advance up to two hours before your arrival. Shorter stays of less than nine hours can only be paid for at ticket machines in the car parks or at the exit gates.

How can I book Terminal Parking?

Terminal Parking can be booked by using the widget at the top of this page.

Enter the date and time of when you would like to arrive at Heathrow before your flight, when you will be leaving the car park, and the terminal you will be flying from. You will then be able to see the available parking options for your chosen dates.

All our pre-booked parking benefits from our flexible cancellation policy, which allows you to cancel or amend your booking up to two hours before your scheduled arrival time free of charge.

How long can I park in Heathrow Terminal Parking?

99 days is the maximum pre-bookable length of stay available in our Terminal Parking car parks.

When turning up and parking on the day without pre-booking, you can stay for as long as you would like, and you will be able to pay the daily drive-up tariff, which can be seen below.

How do I find the Heathrow Terminal Parking car parks?

Please note, following the recent renaming of our Short Stay car parks to Terminal Parking, road signs around the airport and some in-terminal signage will still refer to Short Stay Parking while we work towards fully implementing this change.

Road signs around the airport displaying Short Stay Parking are still correct and should still be followed to reach the Terminal Parking car parks.  

Our Official Heathrow Terminal Parking car parks are located adjacent to their terminal, connected by covered walkways leading directly into the terminal’s arrivals or departures area.

All terminals are easily accessible from major road routes, including the M4 and M25. For Terminals 2 or 3, please use the M4, leaving at Junction 4 for the Heathrow/M4 Spur Road. If you need to reach Terminals 4 or 5, we recommend using M25 Junction 14.

How do I find the Terminal 2 Terminal Parking car park?
  • From the M25, join the M4 by exiting at Junction 15, then take Junction 4 exit from the M4, following signs for Heathrow.
  • Take the Tunnel Road East exit at the roundabout, and follow it down to, and pass through the tunnel, eventually leading to the Inner Ring Road.
  • Keep right on exiting the tunnel and join Constellation Way. Take the ramp up following signs for the Short Stay car park, with the car park entrance on the left after the road splits.
How do I find the Terminal 3 Terminal Parking car park?
  • Exit the M25 at Junction 15, joining the M4, before leaving at the next exit (Junction 4).
  • Join and follow the Heathrow Spur Road to the roundabout and proceed through the tunnel leading to Inner Ring Road.
  • Stay left at the traffic lights, merging on to Cosmopolitan Way. Then, follow the road around, keeping right, with the entrance to the car park being on your right.

     
How do I find the Terminal 3 Terminal Parking car park (Car Park 1A)?
  • Leave the M4 at Junction 4 for Heathrow, joining Tunnel Road East towards the airport. From the M25, exit at Junction 15 and follow the above steps.
  • Continue through the tunnel, keeping left before taking the Chard Road turning on your left before the traffic lights.
  • Stay left, following the road around joining Cromer Road, where the car park entrance will be on your left once the road straightens.
     
How do I find the Terminal 4 Terminal Parking car park?
  • Exit the M25 at Junction 14, following signs for Terminal 4. From the M4, leave at Junction 4B, and follow the same instructions.
  • At the roundabout, join the A3113 to the next roundabout, where you take the second exit on to the Southern Perimeter Road.
  • Follow signs for Terminal 4, leaving the road at the Terminal 4 roundabout. Keeping left, join Stratford Road, following the ramp up, keeping right, with the car park entrance straight ahead.
How do I find the Terminal 5 Terminal Parking car park?
  • For M4 users, exit at Junction 4B for the anticlockwise M25. Take the next exit on the M25 (Junction 14), following signs for Terminal 5.
  • From either direction on the M25, join the Terminal 5 Spur Road, and follow the road until reaching the Terminal 5 roundabout. Join the middle or right-hand lane.
  • Take the Wayfarer Road exit at the roundabout, keeping right and following the ramp up. Join Wilbur Road, where there are multiple entrances to the car park ahead.
     

How much is Heathrow Terminal Parking?

Prices for Heathrow Terminal Parking vary depending on your length of stay and whether you are pre-booking or paying our drive-up prices, which can be viewed in the table below.

Stays under 9 hours cannot be pre-booked and should be paid for at ticket machines or the exit gates in the Terminal Parking car parks. Up to 30 minutes costs £7.50, making for a great option for pick-ups and drop-offs.

 

Making pick-ups from Heathrow’s Terminal Parking car parks

For maximum convenience, we recommend making pick-ups from our Terminal Parking car parks. For such stays, simply take a ticket when you drive into the car park, and then pay at one of our in-car park machines or the gates upon exit.

Can I charge my electric vehicle in Heathrow’s Terminal Parking car parks?

Electric vehicle or EV charging facilities are not currently provided within Heathrow’s Terminal Parking car parks.

Taking this into account, we recommend that customers driving electric vehicles to Heathrow make sure they are adequately charged before arriving at the airport.

Terminal Parking car park heights and overheight vehicle tariffs

The maximum height for vehicles using Terminal 2 Terminal Parking is 2.20 metres. Any vehicles between 2.20 metres and 3 metres can use the overheight vehicle area on the ground floor of the car park. There is a minimum charge of £19.50 for up to two hours.

The maximum vehicle height for the Terminal 3 Terminal Parking car park is 2.20 metres.

Customers may park vehicles up to 2.70 metres high on the ground floor of Terminal Parking Car Park 3.

2.00 metres is the maximum height for vehicles using the Terminal 4 Terminal Parking car park.

Passengers can park vehicles over 2 metres high and/or 2.1 metres wide at Park & Ride Terminal 4. To do this, they need to press the assistance button at exit barrier if they have an overheight vehicle.

The controller will check CCTV to confirm that it’s an overheight vehicle, check the time of entry and charge according to the Terminal Parking tariff (up to six hours).

The Terminal 5 Terminal Parking car park has a maximum height of 2.20 metres.

Customers should use the Fast Track / Overheight Vehicles entrance on the ground floor of Terminal Parking Car Park 5, where there is no height restriction. This area has a minimum charge of £19.50 for up to two hours.
