Heathrow Park & Ride, previously known as Long Stay Parking, is the cheapest of our official parking products, making it ideal for holidays and business trips of any length, as well as picking-up and dropping-off passengers.

Located at convenient, on-airport sites, our Park & Ride car parks are connected to the terminal via free shuttle buses, which leave the car parks every 15-minutes, running directly to the terminal doors.

When is Park & Ride the best parking option for you?

You will not find any of Heathrow’s Official Parking products cheaper than Park & Ride, making it great value for money for both long and short stays.

To get the best rates, we always recommend booking your parking in advance using the widget at the top of this page. On the day pricing for Park & Ride parking starts at £39.50 for the first day, with further 24-hour periods starting at £31.80 per day. For comparison, day rate in our near-terminal Short Stay car parks starts from £88.00 each day.

Our Park & Ride car parks are also a great option for anyone picking-up or dropping-off at Heathrow, with the up-to 30-minutes free.

Where are our Park & Ride car parks?

All three of our Park & Ride car parks are located at convenient on-airport sites, easily accessible from local roads and motorways including the M25 and M4.

Please note, following the recent renaming of our Long Stay car parks to Park & Ride, road signs around the airport will still refer to Long Stay Parking. These should still be followed to reach your Park & Ride car park.

How can you book Heathrow Park & Ride

  1. Use the widget at the top of the page to pre-book Heathrow’s Official Park & Ride parking by entering the time and date of your arrival and departure and selecting the terminal you will be flying from. Then click ‘Get a quote’ to see all your available options.

  2. After selecting your chosen product, proceed with your booking. You can also choose to upgrade your choice or add Fast Track security or a Lounge at this stage.

  3. After paying, you will receive a confirmation email containing further useful information to make your trip easier.

  4. You can make free amendments or cancel your booking up to two-hours before your scheduled arrival time. 

How much are our Park & Ride car parks?

Pricing for all of our official parking products varies depending on your length of stay, time of year and whether you are booking online in advance or paying on the day.

In order to get the best rates for Park & Ride, you should always book your parking in advance of your stay, you can do this by using the widget at the top of the page.

For pick-ups or drop-offs, parking should not be booked in advance online. Instead, payments should be made at our on-foot machines upon exiting the car park. Up to 30-minutes in our Park & Ride car parks is free, with periods between 30-minutes and 1-hour 59-minutes starting at £9.40.

Longer term parking can also be paid for on the day, with the first day costing £39.50, and additional 24-hour periods starting at £31.80 during off-peak periods.

How to get to and from the terminal when using Park & Ride

There are designated Park & Ride bus pick-up stops on the arrivals forecourt of each terminal. 

On boarding the bus, tell the driver which zone you have parked in. During out-of-hours periods (23:30-04:00), you may need to call to request a transfer on 020 8745 6261. 

At the car park, proceed to exit. The registration will be recognised, opening the barrier. You may need to provide your booking reference details if additional assistance is required.

How do I drop-off or pick-up from the Park & Ride car parks

Pick-ups and Drop-offs can be made from the Park & Ride car parks, making use of the shuttle buses running between the car parks and the terminal forecourts.

Parking for such stays should not be booked in advance. Instead, drive-up to the car park gates and take a ticket. You can pay at one of our on-foot machines on exit if you stay for longer than 30-minutes.

The first 30-minutes of any drive-up parking session is free, with additional periods between 30-minutes and 1-hour 59-minutes costing £9.40.
