Due to planned engineering works, there will be no Heathrow Express or Elizabeth line train services to Heathrow on Saturday 15 and Sunday 16 November 2025.

 

Piccadilly line services from Central London will be running as normal, but these services will be much busier than normal.

 

Please allow for extra time when making journeys on public transport over the weekend.

What is Terminal Parking Terminal 4?

Terminal Parking, formerly Short Stay Parking, for Terminal 4 is the closest car park to the main terminal building, offering convenient and quick access to both the departures and arrivals areas.

As well as being well-suited to passengers looking for convenience, the Terminal 4 Terminal Parking car park is a great option for making any pick-ups or drop-offs.

Subject to availability, parking can be pre-booked up to two hours before your arrival using the widget at the top of the page. Booking in advance offers you access to our cheaper, online exclusive pricing.

How to get to Terminal 4 Terminal Parking

The Terminal Parking car park for Terminal 4 is directly opposite the main terminal building, linked by a covered walkway into the departures and arrivals areas.

Located on the airport’s Southern Perimeter Road, the car park is easily accessible from major road routes, including the M4 and M25.

From the M25, leave at Junction 14, following signs for Terminal 4 on the Southern Perimeter Road. Leave the Southern Perimeter Road at the Terminal 4 Roundabout, taking the first exit onto Stratford Road. Follow the ramp up in the right-hand lane, where the entrance to the car park will be right ahead of you.

For M4 users, take the Junction 4B exit, joining the M25, before leaving at Junction 14, following signs for Terminal 4, then follow the above instructions.

Please note, following the recent renaming of our Short Stay car parks to Terminal Parking, road signs around the airport and some in-terminal signage will still refer to Short Stay Parking while we work towards fully implementing this change.

How Parking at Terminal 4 Works

  1. Save by booking in advance – Get the best price on stays longer than 24 hours by pre-booking your parking before you arrive. Short stays of under 24 hours, including pick-ups, drop-offs, should be paid for when exiting the car park.

  2. Arriving at Terminal 4 Terminal Parking car park – When you arrive, drive up to the barrier, where your number plate will be ready. For pre-booked stays, a ticket showing your booking reference will be printed. For non-advance booked stays, press the button and a ticket will be issued.

  3. Parking – Spaces are available across all floors of the car park. When parked, make note of the location of your vehicle, including the level and row you are parked in.

  4. Getting to Terminal 4 – The Terminal 4 Terminal Parking car park is positioned adjacent to the main terminal building, connected via walkways leading into the departures and arrivals halls.

  5. Leaving the car park – On your return, head into the Terminal Parking car park and drive down to the exit gates on the bottom level. For pre-booked stays, the barrier will raise automatically after reading your number plate. For other stays, you can pay at the car park ticket machines or the exit gates.

 

How much is Terminal Parking at Terminal 4?

Prices for Terminal Parking at Terminal 4 vary depending on the duration of your stay.

When staying for longer than 24 hours, we recommend booking your parking in advance to get the best possible price. You can get a quote for your chosen dates by using the widget at the top of the page.

For stays under a day, including drop-offs and pick-ups, we recommend driving into the car park, taking a ticket, and then paying for your parking on exit at the gates or one of our on-foot machines.

Do I need to book Terminal 4 Terminal Parking?

It is not mandatory to pre-book parking in the Terminal 4 Terminal Parking car park – you can simply drive into the car park on the day and pay our drive-up tariffs.

We would, however, recommend booking your parking in advance for longer stays, which will offer you peace of mind by guaranteeing a space during peak periods, and also allow you access to our exclusive online prices.

Pre-booked stays can also be amended or cancelled right up to two hours before your scheduled arrival time for free.

How long can I stay in Terminal 4 Terminal Parking car park?

99 days is the longest possible advance booked stay in the Terminal 4 Terminal Parking car park. You can stay for a longer term by simply driving into the car park without booking, taking a ticket and then paying on exit, where our drive-up prices will apply.

If you are looking to pre-book a term longer than 99 days, passengers should consider some of our other products, including Park & Ride (Long Stay), Priority Park & Ride (Business)Meet & Greet or Valet Parking.

Is there electric vehicle charging available?

There are currently no facilities for electric vehicle charging in the Terminal Parking car park for Terminal 4. If you are driving an EV to the airport, please make sure it is sufficiently charged to leave the airport on your return.

Passengers can park vehicles over 2 metres high and/or 2.1 metres wide at Park & Ride Terminal 4. To do this, they need to press the assistance button at the exit barrier if they have an overheight vehicle.

The controller will check CCTV to confirm that it’s an overheight vehicle, check the time of entry and charge according to the Terminal Parking tariff (up to six hours).
