Rail engineering works: 15 & 16 November

Due to planned engineering works, there will be no Heathrow Express or Elizabeth line train services to Heathrow on Saturday 15 and Sunday 16 November 2025.

Piccadilly line services from Central London will be running as normal, but these services will be much busier than normal.

Please allow for extra time when making journeys on public transport over the weekend.

What is Terminal Parking Terminal 3?

Terminal 3 Terminal Parking, previously known as Short Stay Parking, is conveniently located just a short walk from the terminal entrance, making it an ideal choice for travellers who want quick, easy access to check-in or for those meeting or dropping off passengers.

Subject to availability, stays can be pre-booked up to two hours before your scheduled arrival, or, for shorter stays, including any drop-offs or pick-ups, should be paid for when you are leaving the car park.

To get our best possible rates, we recommend using the widget at the top of the page by simply entering the planned times and dates of your arrival and departure from the airport, and then selecting ‘Get a quote’ to see all of the available options.

How to Get to Terminal 3 Terminal Parking

Directions to the Terminal 3 Terminal Parking car park

Terminal 3 Terminal Parking is easily accessible from major road routes, including the M4 and M25. From both routes, we recommend following signage for Terminals 2&3 leading to the main through tunnel. After passing through the tunnel, keep left, joining Cosmopolitan Way and follow the road around. When approaching Terminal 3, move over to the right to access the car park entrance.

Located adjacent to the main terminal building, the Terminal Parking car park is connected via a covered walkway which feeds into the Terminal 3 arrivals area. Once in the arrivals hall, the departures area, including airline check-in desks, is just a short distance away.

Please note, following the recent renaming of our Short Stay car parks to Terminal Parking, road signs around the airport and some in-terminal signage will still refer to Short Stay Parking while we work towards fully implementing this change.

Road signs around the airport displaying Short Stay Parking are still correct and should still be followed to reach the Terminal Parking car parks.

How Terminal Parking at Terminal 3 Works

  1. Book in advance – For stays of a full day or longer, we recommend booking your parking ahead of your arrival to guarantee the best possible price. For any shorter stays, including picking up or dropping off passengers, please drive into the car park, take a ticket, and pay upon exit.

  2. Arriving at the Terminal 3 Terminal Parking car park – On arrival, drive up to the barrier, where your vehicle registration will be read. For pre-booked stays, a ticket with your booking reference will be automatically issued. For any pick-ups or drop-offs, simply press the button and take a ticket.

  3. Parking – Spaces are available across all floors of the Terminal Parking car park. Be sure to make a note of your car’s location, including the level and row of the space.

  4. Getting to Terminal 3 – A covered walkway feeds directly into the main Terminal 3 building from the Terminal Parking car park, meaning there is no need to make a transfer.

  5. When you return – On return, take the covered walkway from the Terminal 3 arrivals hall, leading right into the car park. Once you drive to the gates, your number plate will be read and, for pre-booked stays, the barrier will open. For on-the-day payments, pay at one of the in-car park ticket machines or the exit barriers after inserting your ticket.
