From Monday 16 September, our Long Stay Parking product has been renamed to Heathrow Park & Ride. Please note that signage around the airport will still refer to Long Stay parking. The location of the car park has not changed, and these signs should still be followed.

What is Long Stay Terminal 2 Parking?

Terminal 2 Long Stay Parking, now known as Heathrow Terminal 2 Park & Ride, is suitable for passengers travelling for short and long period, as well as those picking-up or dropping-off, located at a secure, on-airport site.

Our free and frequent shuttle buses will drop you off and collect you from the entrance of Terminal 2 in as little as 15-minutes.

Payment can be made on the day, or to get the best rates, by pre-booking where you can also benefit from our flexible cancellation policy. When is our Long Stay Car Parking the best option for you?

Both our Long Stay (Heathrow Park & Ride) and Short Stay parking products are excellent options for your stay at Heathrow, whether travelling from Terminal 2, dropping-off or picking-up.

Long Stay parking is the cheapest of our official products, with a secure, on-airport location, connected to Terminal 2 via frequent shuttle buses, ideal for those looking for value for money, with on the day pricing starting from £39.50 per day.

Our Terminal 2 Short Stay is perfect for passengers looking for maximum convenience. With no need to transfer, simply walk from the car park into Terminal 2 to start your journey. Short Stay parking starts at £88.00 a day, when paying on the day rates.

How to Get to Terminal 2 Long Stay Parking

With easy access from the M4 and M25, the Terminal 2 Long Stay (Heathrow Park & Ride) Car Park is located on Heathrow’s Eastern Perimeter Road.

If you are travelling along the M4, exit at Junction 4 and follow signs for Heathrow Airport (Terminals 2 & 3). Keep left at the end of the M4 spur, passing under the bridge and then take the first exit on the left.

At the roundabout, take the third exit, before turning left at the next set of traffic lights, joining the Northern Perimeter Road West. Following signs for Long Stay, you will pass through 3 sets of lights, before reaching a roundabout. Take the first exit, go through the next set of lights, and the entrance for Long Stay (T2 & T3) is on the left.

M25 users should exit at Junction 15, join the London-bound M4 and follow directions above.

How does Long Stay Parking at Terminal 2 Work?

  1. Be sure to pre-book – If you are staying for longer than 24-hours, we recommend pre-booking your parking to guarantee the best rate. If you are dropping someone off, picking-up or staying for under 24-hours, please pay at one of our on-foot machines when you are leaving the car park.

  2. Arrive on time – You will select an arrival time if you have pre-booked your stay, so be sure to arrive at this time. Drive-up to the barrier, and a ticket showing your booking reference will be printed. If you have not booked in advance, drive-up to the barrier and press the button to be issued with a ticket.

  3. Park-up and head to Terminal 2 – Park in any of the open zones, making sure to note the zone you are parked in, and head to your nearest bus stop. The free and frequent shuttle buses will drop you off outside Terminal 2 in less than 15-minutes.

  4. Returning and leaving – When you return, leave Terminal 2 and head to bus stop 5/6, where the shuttle bus back to the car park will collect you. Once back at your car, drive to the exit gates, where the barrier will open if you have pre-booked your parking. You will need to pay at one of our on-foot machines before going to the exit gates if you have not booked in advance.

What’s the cost of Long Stay parking for Terminal 2?

The price for Terminal 2 Long Stay Parking (Heathrow Park & Ride) varies depending on your duration of stay and if you have pre-booked your parking.

To get the best rates, we recommend booking your parking ahead of your arrival. To do this, enter your entry and exit dates in the form at the top of the page and then select ‘Get a quote’ to see all the options available.

For anyone picking-up, dropping-off or staying for less than 24-hours, please drive into the car park, take a ticket, and then pay on exit at one of our on-foot machines in the car park. You can see the hourly prices that are applicable for such stays below.

Am I required to book my Long Stay Parking in advance?

It is not a requirement to book Long Stay Parking (Heathrow Park & Ride) for Terminal 2 prior to your arrival, though to guarantee the cheapest prices, and a space during our busier periods, we would recommend doing so.

In addition to securing your space and getting the best price, pre-booked visitors can also benefit from our flexible cancellation policy, allowing you to cancel or amend your booking up to two-hours before your arrival for free. 

How do I get to Terminal 2 from the Long Stay car park?

Getting between Terminal 2 and the Long Stay (Heathrow Park & Ride) car park is simple.

Shuttle buses serving several stops located around the car park depart every 15-minutes between the hours of 04:00 and 23:30, dropping you off outside the entrance to Terminal 2 in less than 15-minutes.

When you are returning to the car park, exit Terminal 2 and head to Bus Stops 5/6, where a bus will return you to the car park.

Do Terminals 2 & 3 share a Long Stay car park? 

Yes, Terminal 2 shares a Long Stay (Heathrow Park & Ride) car park with Terminal 3. All of the Long Stay parking shuttle buses call at both terminals on each journey, whilst the car park is referred to as Long Stay Terminal 2&3.
