What is Park & Ride Terminal 2 Parking?

Park & Ride, previously known as Long Stay Parking, at Heathrow Terminal 2 is our budget-friendly parking option, offering a convenient and secure experience, that is ideal for any lengths of stays including short breaks and long-term trips.

The Terminal 2 Park & Ride car park served by free shuttle buses running to the doors of Terminal 2 every 15-minutes, with transfers taking as little as 15-minutes.

Stays under 30-minutes in duration are free of charge, meaning the Terminal 2 Park & Ride car park is also great for making drop-offs and pick-ups.

Where is the Terminal 2 Park & Ride car park?

Heathrow’s Terminal 2 Park & Ride car park makes use of the former Terminal 2 & 3 Long Stay Parking car park. Due to the recency of these changes, road signs around the airport will still refer to Long Stay Parking, though these should still be followed to reach the Park & Ride car park.

The Terminal 2 Park & Ride car park is located on Heathrow’s Eastern Perimeter Road, making access from both the M4 and M25 straightforward.

M4 users should exit at Junction 4, following signs for Heathrow Airport (Terminals 2 & 3). At the end of the M4 Spur keep left, passing under the bridge before taking the first exit on the left.

Take the third exit at the roundabout, then make a left turn at the following set of traffic lights. Once you have joined the Northern Perimeter Road West, follow signs for Long Stay, passing through three sets of lights. At the next roundabout, take the first exit, proceeding through the traffic lights, before coming up on the entrance for the Park & Ride car park on the left.

Those travelling on the M25 should leave at Junction 15, joining the London-bound M4, and then follow the above directions.

How does Park & Ride at Terminal 2 Work?

  1. Book your stay in advance – For stays longer than 24-hours in duration, we recommend booking your parking in advance to guarantee the best price. You can do this by using the widget at the top of this page. Please pay at one of our on-foot machines at the exit of our car parks if you are making a pick-up, drop-off, or staying for less than 24-hours.

  2. Arrive on time – Pre-booked parkers will have selected an arrival time at the time of booking. When choosing your arrival time, please take into account the time it will take to reach the terminal from the car park. When you drive-up to the barrier, your number plate will be read and a ticket with your booking reference will be printed. If you have not booked in advance, drive-up to the barrier and press the button and a ticket will be issued.

  3. Park-up and head to Terminal 2 – You can park in any of the car park’s open zones, though be sure to note the zone you are parked in and its closest bus stop. Free shuttle buses depart the car park every 15-minutes, with the transfer to Terminal 2 taking as little as 15-minutes.

  4. Returning and leaving – On your return, exit Terminal 2, heading for Bus stop 5/6, where the shuttle buses depart from. After you return to your car, drive to the exit, where the barrier will automatically open if you have paid in advance. You will need to pay at one of our on-foot machines located near the exit if you have not pre-booked.
