Rail engineering works: 15 & 16 November

Due to planned engineering works, there will be no Heathrow Express or Elizabeth line train services to Heathrow on Saturday 15 and Sunday 16 November 2025.

Piccadilly line services from Central London will be running as normal, but these services will be much busier than normal.

Please allow for extra time when making journeys on public transport over the weekend.

What is Terminal Parking Terminal 2?

Terminal Parking, formerly known as Short Stay Parking, is the nearest car park to Terminal 2, positioned a short distance from the arrivals and departures areas of the terminal.

Whether you are looking for maximum convenience when departing or arriving from Terminal 2, or looking to make hassle-free drop-offs or pick-ups, Terminal Parking is a great option.

For longer stays, we recommend pre-booking your stay in our Terminal Parking car parks in advance, whilst for stays of under a day, pick-ups or drop-offs should be paid for at the car park gates on exit or at on-foot machines.

To get a quote, enter the dates and times of your departure and arrival at the airport, and the terminal you are flying from into the widget at the top of the page.

How to get to the Terminal 2 Terminal Parking car park

Please note, following the recent renaming of our Short Stay Parking car parks to Terminal Parking, road signs around the airport and some in-terminal signage will still refer to Short Stay Parking while we work towards fully implementing this change.

Road signs around the airport displaying Short Stay Parking are still correct and should still be followed to reach the Terminal Parking car parks.

How Terminal 2 Terminal Parking Works

On arrival at the car park, drive up to the barrier, where your number plate will be read and a ticket will be issued. If you have pre-booked your parking, the ticket will display your booking reference.

Entrance to the car park is on Level 4; however, parking is available across all floors. Once parked, make a note of the level and row of your space.

When leaving the car park, simply drive up to the barriers, which will open automatically if you have pre-booked your parking. If you are making a pick-up or drop-off, you can pay for your parking at one of the on-foot ticket machines in the car park or the barriers on exit.

In the event of any problems with the ticket, at any payment machine or the exit, press the intercom button for assistance.
