What is Short Stay Parking Terminal 4?

Ideally located for passengers looking for a convenient parking experience, or those dropping-off or picking-up, Terminal 4 Short Stay Parking is located a short distance from the main Terminal 4 building.

Parking in the Terminal 4 Short Stay car park can be pre-booked up to two hours before your arrival. Subject to availability, you can also park on the day, paying the drive-up tariff for your stay.

How to Get to Terminal 4 Short Stay Parking

Located right next to the Terminal, Terminal 4 Short Stay Parking is linked to the main building via a covered walkway.

If you are arriving from the M25, exit at Junction 14 and follow signs for Terminal 4 along the Southern Perimeter Road. Follow the road until you reach the slip road signposted for Terminal 4, where you should join the second lane for Short Stay Parking up the ramp. At the top of the ramp, keep right and you will see the entrance to the car park.

From the M4, exit at Junction 3, and follow the A312 until you reach the A30. Once on the A30, follow signs for Terminal 4, taking the slip road to the Terminal 4 roundabout. After this, take the second exit and join the second lane, which will lead you to the car park entrance.

How Parking at Terminal 4 Works

  1. Book in advance – For longer stays over 24-hours, you will get the best price by booking your parking in advance. If you are picking-up, dropping-off or staying for less than 24-hours, please drive-up and pay at one of our on-foot machines in the Terminal 4 Short Stay Car Park.

  2. Arriving at Terminal 4 Short Stay car park – On arrival, drive-up to the barrier, and your number plate will be read. If you have booked in advance, a ticket showing your booking reference will be issued automatically. If you are staying for a shorter period, simply press the button and you will be issued with a ticket.

  3. Parking – Parking is available on all levels. Once safely parked, make a note of the level and row of your space before leaving the vehicle.

  4. Getting to Terminal 4 – Terminal 4 is located a short walk away from the Terminal 4 Short Stay car park, via a covered walkway.

  5. When you return – When you return, leave the main Terminal 4 building and walk through the covered walkway to the Terminal 4 Short Stay Car Park. Once you drive to the exit gates, number plate recognition will read your number plate, and the barrier will open if you have pre-booked your parking. For those who have not pre-booked parking, you will need to pay at an on-foot machine prior to going to the exit gates.

How much is Short Stay Parking at Terminal 4?

Pricing for Terminal 4 Short Stay Parking varies depending on the length of your stay.

For stays with a duration of more than 24-hours, booking parking in advance will give you the best price. You can view quotes by using the widget at the top of the page, and all our pre-booked parking benefits from our flexible cancellation and amendment policy.

If you are picking-up, dropping-off or staying for less than 24-hours, we recommend that you drive into the Terminal 4 Short Stay car park and pay at one of our on-foot machines. The hourly tariffs for this are listed below.

Do I need to book parking?

It is not essential to book Terminal 4 Short Stay Parking in advance of your arrival, you can simply turn up on the day. If you are looking for the best price, we would recommend booking ahead, especially during the busiest periods.

How long can I stay in Terminal 4 Short Stay car park?

The longest possible stay in the Terminal 4 Short Stay car park when booking in advance is 99 days. If you are looking to book a longer term, this can be done by turning up on the day, where the daily drive-up rate listed here applies.

Is there electric vehicle charging available?

The Terminal 4 Short Stay car park does not currently have facilities to charge electric vehicles. If you are driving an electric vehicles to the airport, please make sure they are charged sufficiently prior to your arrival. A list of local charging stations with fast and rapid-charging facilities can be found here.

Passengers can park vehicles over 2 metres high and/or 2.1 metres wide at Park & Ride Terminal 4. To do this, they need to press the assistance button at exit barrier if they have an overheight vehicle. The controller will check CCTV to confirm that it’s an overheight vehicle, check the time of entry and charge according to the Short Stay tariff (up to six hours).
