What is Short Stay Parking Terminal 3?

Terminal 3 Short Stay Parking is located just a short distance from the entrance to the terminal, making it perfect for passengers looking for a convenient and efficient experience at the airport, or even those dropping-off or picking-up.

You can pay on arrival or pre-book Heathrow Short Stay Parking Terminal 3 in advance for durations over one hour up to two hours before you arrive, subject to availability.

We advise using the ‘Get a parking quote’ widget at the top of the page to pre-book and save money. All you have to do is enter the date and time of when you want to arrive at the airport and the date and time of when you will depart, then “Get a quote”.

How to Get to Terminal 3 Short Stay Parking

The Terminal 3 Short Stay car park is located right next to the terminal, just a five-minute walk via the covered walkway which is connected to the check-in area. The car park is also ideal for those dropping-off or collecting passengers from Terminal 3.

Whether approaching from the M25 or M4, follow signs for Terminals 2 and 3 and go through the main tunnel to the Central Terminal Area. Exiting the tunnel, keep left at the traffic lights, and follow signs for Terminal 3 Departures. The entrance to the car park is located on the right-hand side.

How Parking at Terminal 3 Works

  1. Book in advance – For stays over 24-hours, we recommend that you book your parking in advance for the best price. If you are staying for less than 24-hours, picking someone up or dropping-off, please drive-up and pay at one of our on-foot machines.

  2. Arriving at Terminal 3 Short Stay car park - When you arrive, drive-up to the barrier. Your number plate will be read and if you have booked in advance, a ticket showing your booking reference will be issued automatically. If you are staying for a shorter period, simply press the button and a ticket will be issued.

  3. Parking – Parking is available on all levels. Once safely parked, make a note of the level and row of your space before leaving the vehicle.

  4. Getting to Terminal 3 – There is no need for a transfer, Terminal 3 is located a 5-minute walk away from the Short Stay car park, via a covered walkway.

  5. When you return – Upon return, walk back through the covered walkway to the car park, and drive your car to the exit gates. Number plate recognition will read your number plate, and the barrier will open if you have pre-booked your parking. If you are paying on the day, you will need to pay at one of our on-foot machines before going to the exit gates.
     

How much is Short Stay Parking at Terminal 3?

Finding the best price for Terminal 3 Short Stay Parking is dependent on your length of stay.

For stays over 24-hours, we recommend that you book your parking in advance, to get the best price. You can do this by using the widget at the top of the page, and you can cancel or amend your booking up to two-hours before your arrival time for free.

Do I need to book parking?

Booking is not essential for Terminal 3 Short Stay Parking – you can simply turn up on the day – but we do recommend booking in advance, especially during particularly busy times of year at the airport.

To book, just enter the date and time of when you want to arrive at Heathrow and the date and time of when you will depart the airport in the ‘Get a parking quote’ widget at the top of the page.

Our flexible cancellation policy allows you to cancel up to two hours before you arrive for free. 

How long can I stay in Terminal 3 Short Stay car park?

The maximum length of stay for anyone booking Terminal 3 Short Stay parking in advance is 99 days. Passengers looking to book longer terms than this should consider our Park & Ride (Long Stay), Park & Ride Plus (Business), Meet & Greet or Valet Parking products.

If you turn up on the day to the Terminal 3 Short Stay car park without pre-booking, you can stay as long as you like, with the daily drive-up rate listed here applying.

Is there electric vehicle charging available?

Heathrow doesn’t currently provide EV charging facilities in the Terminal 3 Short Stay car park. We recommend that customers driving electric vehicles to the airport charge them adequately prior to arriving. Customers may park vehicles up to 2.75 metres high on the ground floor of Short Stay Car Park 3.
