Long Stay Parking for Terminal 4 is a great option for both any trips, offering budget-friendly, convenient and secure parking.

From Monday 16 September, our Long Stay Parking product has been renamed to Heathrow Park & Ride. Please note that signage around the airport will still refer to Long Stay parking. The location of the car park has not changed, and these signs should still be followed.

What is Long Stay Terminal 4 Parking?

Terminal 4 Long Stay Parking, now known as Heathrow Park & Ride, is perfect for both short and long stays in duration, as well as picking-up or dropping-off, giving you great value for money, as well as being convenient and secure.

Connected to Terminal 4 by our free, frequent shuttle buses which will take you to the departures hall in less than 15-minutes.

Terms over 24-hours are available for pre-booking online using the widget above but can also be paid for on the day at one of the on-foot payment machines located in the car park.

When is Long Stay the best option for you?

Long Stay Parking (Heathrow Park & Ride) is the cheapest Heathrow’s Official Parking products, offering great value for money, whilst still giving you peace of mind that your car will be parked in a safe and secure on-airport car park, only a quick bus ride away from Terminal 4.

Booking online in advance will always allow you to benefit from our best rates, though you can also pay on departure. In our off-peak periods, Long Stay parking starts at £39.50 for the first day, with additional 24-hour periods costing £31.80.

For comparison, the first day in our Terminal 4 Short Stay car park, located a short walk from the terminal entrance, will cost £88.00 paying on the day rates, with any further days also being the same amount.

The Terminal 4 Long Stay (Heathrow Park & Ride) car park is also a good choice for dropping-off or picking-up, with the first 30-minutes of your stay being free. Between 30-minutes and 2-hours, costs £9.40. The near-terminal Short Stay car park starts at £7.50 for your first 30-minutes.

How to get to the Terminal 4 Long Stay Car Park

The Terminal 4 Long Stay (Heathrow Park & Ride) car park is located just off Heathrow’s Southern Perimeter Road, making it readily accessible from both the M4 and M25.

For M4 users, leave the motorway at Junction 3, taking the A312. Stay on this road, taking the second exit at the roundabout, before reaching the junction with the A30. Turn right at this point, and continue along the A30 for 1.5 miles, leaving at the Terminal 4 slip road. Stay in the left-lane at the roundabout, before turning right on to Scylla Road, with the car park entrance being on your right.

On the M25, leave at Junction 14, taking the third exit at the roundabout. At the second roundabout, take the second exit, joining the Southern Perimeter Road. After passing through several traffic lights, you will reach another roundabout, where you take the second exit. At this point, move over to the right to make the next right on to Scylla Road, with the entrance on the right.

How does Long Stay Parking for Terminal 4 Work?

  1. Book in advance – Booking in advance is recommended if you are staying for a period longer than 24-hours, so that you can benefit from our best rates and guarantee your spot. Terms less than one day, but more than 30-minutes, should be paid for at our on-foot machines in the car park, as these stays are not available online. For pick-ups and drop-offs, up to 30-minutes in our Long Stay car parks is free, with drive-up rates applying thereafter.

  2. Arriving at Terminal 4 Long Stay car park – On arrival your number plate will be read, and a ticket issued if you have booked online. Pressing the button will also issue a ticket if you have not pre-booked or are staying for less than 24-hours.

  3. Getting to Terminal 4 – Our free shuttle buses run to the doors of Terminal 4 regularly, with the transfer taking less than 15-minutes.

  4. When you return – Pick-ups for buses back to the car park take place from bus stop 3 on the terminal’s forecourt. Once you have returned to your car, drive to the exit gates, which will open automatically for pre-booked customers. Those who have not booked their parking in advance will need to pay at the on-foot machines before driving to the barriers. 

What is the cost of Long Stay parking for Terminal 4?

Parking prices for the Terminal 4 Long Stay (Heathrow Park & Ride) car park vary depending on your length of stay and whether you have pre-booked online, which allows you to benefit from our cheapest rates.

On the day prices start £39.50 for the first day, with any additional 24-hour periods costing £31.50 per day in off-peak periods.

If you are making a drop-off or pick-up from the Terminal 4 Long Stay car park, stays less than 30-minutes are free. Beyond that, between half an hour and 2-hours costs £9.40.

Am I required to book my Heathrow Long Stay parking in advance?

You are not required to book your Long Stay parking (Heathrow Park & Ride) in advance of your stay, though we would recommend that you do to get the best rates, especially for any stays over 24-hours in duration.

Customers who pre-book their parking also benefit from our flexible cancellation policy, which allows you to cancel or amend your booking up to two-hours prior to your booked arrival time.

On the day parking is also available via payment at our on-foot machines, and we recommend paying this way if you are staying for less than 24-hours, dropping-off or picking-up.

How do I get to Terminal 4 from the Long Stay car park?

Free, frequent shuttle buses are on-hand to transport you between Terminal 4 and the Long Stay (Heathrow Park & Ride) car park.

These buses serve numerous stops around the car park, run every 15-minutes from 04:00 to 23:30 and drop you off on the Terminal 4 forecourt.

On your return, head to the terminal forecourt and to bus stop 3, where you can collect the bus for the return journey.
