Go2Gate is a minibus exclusively for the Dedworth area that is more like your own personal taxi that you book on an easy-to-use app. It will pick you up close to home and take you to Heathrow Terminal 5, and home again, any day of the week at the times that suit you.

From Terminal 5, it’s easy to continue to all parts of the airport using the free trains, Tube and H30 bus. See the bus route maps and diagrams section below to download the Heathrow free travel map. Heathrow is a great transport hub with speedy connections to and from Central London and the South East, or for longer journeys by coach all over the UK.

Download the Go2Gate app from the App Store or Google Play. Follow the prompts on screen and you’re ready to book a ride. You can book up to 28 days in advance. The app will also take bookings up to a few minutes before you want to travel, although we may ask to pick you up or drop you off from a slightly different location in Dedworth to maintain journey times for all users.

The app will always tell you where to wait and keep you up to date. You can also track your bus on the app up to 30 minutes before it arrives.

Useful information when booking your ride

Go2Gate is not a traditional bus service. It is a flexible service and must comply with special rules that are stipulated by the Department for Transport. These rules include the requirement for all passengers to book in advance.

We recommend you wait until arriving at Heathrow and have passed through Customs and have all your luggage with you, before booking your journey from Heathrow to Dedworth. If you book in advance and are delayed on your flight to Heathrow, you may not be able to cancel your Go2Gate booking in time. Refunds are not possible if you do not cancel more than 20 minutes before the pick-up time.

Wheelchair users can reserve a specific wheelchair space when making their booking.

Only folding commuter bicycles such as Brompton or Tern are allowed onboard Go2Gate services.

Each passenger can bring two medium cases (70cm x 45cm x 30cm) or one large case (90cm x 75cm x 43cm). Passengers wishing to travel with two large cases will need to book a journey for two passengers.

Only assistance dogs are permitted on Go2Gate minibuses, travelling free of charge.

You can cancel your booking at any time until 20 minutes prior to your journey.

Select the correct number of passengers when searching for your preferred journey, and then click on “Add a discount/subscription” during the booking process.
