Changes to entering the UK using EU ID cards

From 1st October 2021, most EU, EEA and Swiss nationals will need to use a valid passport to travel to the UK. ID cards will no longer be accepted as a valid travel document to enter the UK, though some exemptions will apply.

    Where to catch your coach

    Terminals 2 and 3:
    Head to the central bus station, a short walk from the terminals. It’s open 24/7, and the travel centre is open from 06:00-22:30.

    Terminal 5:
    Find stops 9-15 outside Arrivals. 

    Transfer between terminals

    Get tickets at Heathrow
    Buy tickets for any coach service at Heathrow central bus station (Terminal 2 and 3), or at the National Express ticket office at international arrivals in Terminal 5.
