Priority Park & Ride Terminals 2&3 closure

Due to operational reasons, the Priority Park & Ride car park for Terminals 2 & 3 is currently closed to passengers. Passengers with existing affected bookings will be contacted about alternative arrangements. New bookings and drive-up stays for this car park are not possible; however, all our other car parks, including Priority Park & Ride Terminal 5, remain open as normal.

What is Priority Park & Ride Terminal 3 Parking?

Priority Park & Ride for Heathrow Terminal 3 allows you to start off your journey in an ultra-efficient manner, with shuttles whisking you to the terminal doors with minimal hassle.

The business-class, on-demand shuttle service offers transfers to the entrance of Terminal 3 in as little as 10 minutes, whilst our car parks are safe and secure, offering you peace of mind whilst leaving your vehicle.

Did Priority Park & Ride used to be Business Parking?

Priority Park & Ride was formerly known as Business Parking and was rebranded in 2024 to align with the renaming of Long Stay Parking as Park & Ride, and to help differentiate between the products' offerings.

Where is the Terminal 3 Priority Park & Ride car park?

Located on the airfield perimeter, the Terminal 3 Priority Park & Ride car park is easy to reach from both the M4 and M25.

Please note, Business Parking is still referred to on road signs around the airport, but this signage is still valid and can be followed to reach the car park.

From the M4:

  • Leave the M4 at Junction 4, before joining the M4 Spur Road towards Heathrow. 
  • Pass underneath the bridge, then take the first exit on your left, leading you to a roundabout. 
  • Take the third exit, then keep right to make a right turn. 
  • Follow the Northern Perimeter Road, a short distance before coming up on the car park entrance on your left.

From the M25:

  • Junction 14 should be taken by M25 users before joining the Terminal 5 slip road. 
  • After arriving at the Terminal 5 roundabout, take the first exit and follow the road around until you reach the traffic lights. 
  • Follow the Northern Perimeter Road, taking the second exit at the roundabout, before the road turns to the left, then right. 
  • At the end, stay in the right-hand lane at the traffic lights, taking the fourth exit on the roundabout to join the Northern Perimeter Road heading West, with the entrance immediately on your left.

How does Priority Park & Ride at Terminal 3 Work?

  1. Book your parking – Benefit from our best Priority Park & Ride rates by booking your parking in advance. Not booking ahead of your stay is also possible; just make your payment at the gates on exit.

  2. On arrival – If you have pre-booked, on driving up to the gates, your number plate will be read, and a ticket with your booking reference on it will be printed. You can also be issued a ticket by pressing the button at the gates.

  3. Reaching Terminal 3 – You can request a bus from any of the stops around the car park, with transfers to the entrance of Terminal 3 taking as little as 10 minutes.

  4. Getting back to your car – After leaving Terminal 3, head to Bus Stop 16 outside the arrivals hall, where the Priority Park & Ride shuttles make their pick-ups. After reaching your car, proceed to the barriers, which will open if you have booked in advance. Payments can also be made here if you have not pre-booked.

Why go for Terminal 3 Priority Park & Ride

There are several differences between our Priority Park & Ride and Park & Ride products for Terminal 3. These include faster transfers to the terminals, the use of business-class shuttles to make the transfer, and more convenient airport perimeter locations for the car parks, making them closer to Terminal 3.

Should I book my Terminal 3 Priority Park & Ride parking in advance?

It is not mandatory to book Priority Park & Ride for Terminal 3 in advance of your stay; however, we would recommend doing so.

Pre-booking Heathrow’s Official Parking offers several benefits, including offering you the cheapest possible prices, along with the use of our flexible cancellations and amendments policy, allowing you to change your booking up to two hours before your booked arrival time.

How do I get to Terminal 3 from the Priority Park & Ride car park?

Business-class shuttles are used to complete the journey between Terminal 3 and the Priority Park & Ride car park, running on demand between the hours of 04:00 and 23:00.

Between 23:00 and 04:00, please request a pick-up via the intercom system when you enter the car park, or call 020 8745 6261, stating your location and bus stop number.

Pick-ups when returning from Terminal 3 to the Priority Park & Ride car park are made from Bus Stop 16 outside the arrivals area of Terminal 3.

Do Terminals 2 & 3 share a Priority Park & Ride car park? 

Yes, the Priority Park & Ride car park used for Terminal 2 and Terminal 3 is the same. Shuttles can be requested to call at either or both terminals when travelling between the car park and terminals.
