    TfL Rail's stopping service links the airport with local stations in west London.

    Journey times and frequency

    Trains run between Heathrow and London Paddington, departing every 30 minutes and calling at local stations in west London. Journey time varies between 31 and 49 minutes.

    Tickets and routes

    Individual tickets and Zones 1-6 Travelcards can be purchased from ticket machines at all stations or you can use Oyster pre-paid cards and contactless payment cards to travel on the service.

    The routes between Heathrow and London Paddington are as follows:

    • Heathrow Terminal 4
    • Heathrow Terminals 2 & 3
    • Hayes & Harlington
    • Southall
    • Hanwell
    • West Ealing
    • Ealing Broadway
    • Acton
    • London Paddington

    Where to catch trains

    TfL Rail trains stop at Heathrow Terminals 2 & 3 and Heathrow Terminal 4. Passengers travelling to Terminal 5 should change at Heathrow Terminals 2 & 3 for the free transfer train (four trains per hour, journey time 6 minutes).

    Travel between Heathrow terminals is free on any service if you touch in and out with a contactless or Oyster card. Alternatively collect a Terminal Transfer ticket from select machines throughout the stations.
