Changes to Terminal 4 parking from 23 June

From 23 June 2026, the Terminal 4 multi-storey car park (for Terminal and Meet & Greet Parking) has closed as part of a major redevelopment programme to modernise the terminal's forecourts and car park, improving passenger experience.

Is there EV charging at Heathrow?

Since the conclusion of Heathrow's trial with E-GAP in April 2024, there are no facilities for the charging of electric vehicles (EVs) anywhere on the airport site or within our car parks.

With this in mind, we recommend that anyone driving an EV to Heathrow should make sure that their vehicle is adequately charged to arrive and leave the airport before arriving.

Where to charge your vehicle around Heathrow?

As there are no charging provisions at Heathrow, including in any of our car parks, any electric vehicles will need to be fully charged before arriving, and sufficiently so to leave the airport on your return.

A map of EV charging facilities local to Heathrow is available below.
