1.1. The Event promoters are Heathrow Airport Limited (Company Number: 01991017) The Compass Centre, 1st Floor, Nelson Road, Hounslow, Middlesex TW6 2GW and British Airways (Company Number: 1777777) Waterside, Speedbird Way, Harmondsworth, UB7 0GB (the “Promoters”). Please do not send entries to these addresses.
2.1. The Event Draw will be available for entry from six weeks before the event, for two weeks. Entries received before or after this time will not be accepted.
2.2. You can enter the Event Draw by completing the entry form at Heathrow’s website or British Airways’ website. Online entries are free of charge. A valid internet connection is required to enter the Event Draw.

2.4. Entry to the Event Draw is free and no purchase is necessary. The Promoters shall not charge any entrant for entering or attempting to enter the Event Draw.
2.5. By submitting your entry, you agree to these Terms and Conditions.
3.1. Entrants must be aged 18 or over.
3.2. An entrant may submit an entry on behalf of another individual if:
3.2.1. The individual is above the age of five (5);
3.2.2. The entrant has a relationship of guardian / carer / parent with the individual; and
3.2.3. The entrant accepts these Terms and Conditions on behalf of them and the individual.
3.3. Entrants must have a guardian aged 18 or over who can accompany them for the duration of the Event. Notwithstanding the above, if an entry is made on behalf of another individual, the entrant is not required to be the accompanying guardian for the purposes of the Event.
3.4. Entrants and their accompanying guardians must prove their age if requested by the Promoters.
3.5. Entrants and their accompanying guardians must have a UK postal address and be in possession of a valid passport or valid UK driver’s license.
3.6. Entrants must not have been a Participant in a previous Event.
3.7. Only one (1) entry per individual is permitted. No automated or duplicate entries will be accepted and any entrant found to be entering more than once will be disqualified from the draw.
3.8. No refund may be claimed for expenses incurred in participating in the Event Draw, not limited to expenses in relation to the use of the internet.
3.9. The Promoters reserve the right to exclude any entries which it believes to be inappropriate, fraudulent or based on misconduct or which are not eligible under Clause 3.
3.10. The Promoters reserve the right to exclude any entry if there are reasonable grounds to believe that there has been a breach of these Terms and Conditions by an entrant.
3.11. All required details in the entry form must be provided for an entry to be considered valid. Entries cannot be accepted if all required details are not provided, incomplete or inaccurate.
3.12. This Event Draw is not available to employees of Heathrow Airport Limited, British Airways or of any third party who are connected with the creation or administration of this Event Draw, or their direct families.
4.1. Entrants are eligible to participate in a three (3) hour-long guided familiarisation tour of Heathrow Airport Terminal 5 (the “Event”).
4.2. The Event is organised and supplied by Heathrow Airport Limited.
4.3. Participation in this Event from the Event Draw is non-transferable, non-exchangeable, non-refundable, and no cash alternative is available.
4.4. The winner(s) (Event Participant(s)) is/are responsible for any costs or expenses involved in participating in the Event.
4.5. By entering the Event Draw you accept these T&Cs.
4.6. The Event must be taken as stated and no compensation will be payable if a Participant is unable to participate in the Event as stated.
4.7. Heathrow Airport Limited reserves the right to modify or cancel the Event at its discretion.
4.8. All Event Participants and their accompanying guardians must have a valid passport or valid UK driver’s license and must bring that identification document on the day of the Event. They must also obtain a valid temporary airside pass for the duration of the Event. Further information can be found at IDC-terms-and-conditions.pdf.
4.9. Any violation of these conditions may be subject to cancellation of participation in the Event. Heathrow Airport Limited is not responsible for any costs due to delay, cancellation or disruption of service of the Event.
5.1. Five (5) Participants will be drawn at random by Heathrow Airport Limited from all the eligible entries after the Closing Date.
5.2. Once selected, Participants will be asked to provide further information in addition to the entry form, including:
6.1. The Participants will be notified by Heathrow Airport Limited by the email address or telephone number provided on the entry form within twenty-eight (28) days of the Closing Date.
6.2. If a successful entrant fails to confirm their attendance at the Event fourteen (14) days after Heathrow Airport Limited has notified them, Heathrow Airport Limited will make one further attempt to contact the entrant. There will be no further correspondence if the successful entrant does not respond to the correspondence from Heathrow Airport Limited within 14 days of the further attempt to contact the successful entrant.
6.3. In the event that the entrant fails to respond to the process set out above, the entrant shall irrevocably forfeit their participation in the Event. Heathrow Airport Limited reserves the right to exercise discretion regarding whether another entrant shall be chosen to be a Participant in the Event.
6.4. Heathrow Airport Limited’s decision regarding the Participants is final and no further correspondence will be entered into.
7.1. The Promoters reserve the right at any time to cancel, modify or supersede the Event Draw if, in Heathrow Airport Limited’s sole discretion, an Event Draw is not capable of being conducted as specified.
7.2. The Promoters do not accept responsibility for entries that are lost, damaged or delayed, for example (but not limited to), as a result of network, system development, computer or telecommunications failures or faults of any kind – including any hardware, programming code, databases or software used in the Event Draw. Proof of sending will not be accepted as proof of delivery.
7.3. The Promoters do not accept liability for failure of notifying Event Participants where incorrect contact details have been supplied.
7.4. To the extent permitted by law, the Promoters will not be liable for any loss, damage, personal injury or death occurring as a result of participating in the Event, except where caused by negligence of the Promoters, its agents or distributors, or that of its employees. Your statutory rights are not affected.
8.1. By taking part in this Event Draw, all entrants consent to the Promoters collecting, storing and using their Personal Data submitted with their entry for the purposes of this Event Draw, including, as necessary, in respect of the administration of the Event Draw.
8.2. Any Personal Data relating to entrants will be used solely in accordance with current UK Data Protection Legislation ((i) any law, statute, declaration, decree, directive, legislative enactment, order, ordinance, regulation, rule or other binding restriction (as amended, consolidated or re-enacted from time to time) which relates to the protection of individuals with regards to the Processing of personal data to which a Party is subject, including the Data Protection Act 2018 and the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679 as it forms part of the law of England and Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland by virtue of section 3 of the European Union (Withdrawal) Act 2018; (“UK GDPR”) (on and from 25 May 2018), as well as the Privacy and Electronic Communications (EC Directive) Regulations 2003; and (ii) any code of practice or guidance published by the Information Commissioner's Office from time to time).
8.3. Further information on how the Promoters will collect and use the entrants’ Personal Data for the Event Draw can be found in the Promoters’ privacy notice which can be accessed at (“Privacy Notice”). Please note that many data subject rights are not absolute and the extent to which they apply may vary depending on the circumstances and any exemptions that may apply.
8.4. Any entrants may object to the Promoters’ use of their Personal Data under this clause 8 or request that the amount of Personal Data used for their purposes of clause 8 is reduced. Further information on how to exercise these rights can be found in the Privacy Notice.
8.5. Notwithstanding the Participant(s)’s rights set out in clause 8.4, the Promoters may disclose the Participant’s Personal Data to such competent regulatory authority as appropriate, if required to do so. If a regulatory authority seeks to request disclosure of Participants’ details for a reasonable reason, the details will only be disclosed (if permitted by law) after the Event.
8.6. The Participant of this Event Draw may be asked to participate in publicity. Heathrow Airport Limited will seek the consent of the Participant and / or their guardian prior to using any images / videos for publicity. In the event that the Participant is under the age of 18, Heathrow Airport Limited will only seek consent from the individual’s guardian / parent prior to using images / videos for publicity.
8.7. Your and your partys’ data provided to Heathrow may be shared with British Airways in order to facilitate the familiarisation visits and handled in accordance with 8.3 above. If the individual is a child or over the age of 18 and requires support to understand or make decisions about this form, please ensure a legally authorised representative (e.g., carer, guardian, or Power of Attorney) completes the form on their behalf. I understand that if I/the individual I am applying on behalf of is chosen to partake in the event, I/they will be required to share personal data, including some heath information, and this information will be shared with British Airways.
9.1. These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by the laws of England and Wales and are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
