London Underground strike action: 21-24 April

Due to planned strike action, there will be little to no service across all London Underground services, including the Piccadilly line to Heathrow, between 21 and 24 April 2026

Heathrow Express, Elizabeth line, and local bus services will run as normal on these days. Please plan your journey prior to travelling to Heathrow, and allow for extra time where necessary, as these services will be busier than normal.

At the epicentre of the Balaeric Riviera, Gecko is Formentera’s best-positioned hotel beach club with a chilled-out bossa nova vibe and a renewed focus on connection and wellbeing.
""

Migjorn – the beautiful expanse of white sand, rugged dunes and turquoise seawater on the coast of Formentera – has been shaped by the laidback machinations of the Gecko Beach Club.

Music is at the heart of the club’s concept: In-house DJs spin appropriately-Balaeric beats and the whole place has a lazy bossa nova vibe that befits lolloping in hammocks and sipping sharp cocktails in kooky beach cabanas.

""

You can say hello to the day with an early morning yoga class, amble along the wooden boardwalk that lines Migjorn, hop on a moped to go further afield or on an SUP to cruise out into the Azure waters.

Or simply dine from the alfresco terrace, gaze out to sea to let your worries fritter away.

The nautical-inspired furnishings, sandblasted wooden tables and gentle atmosphere help the hotel blend seamlessly with its mesmerising oceanic surroundings. There’s nothing truly fancy on show – understated glamour is the order of the day – but there doesn’t need to be.

At the Gecko Beach Club, luxury is a state of mind.
