If you’re hoping to travel in a bit more comfort this summer, then it may be worth booking an airport lounge to relax and unwind in before you take off on your travels. Heathrow have a number of luxury lounges at affordable prices in each terminal. Here is an inside look at No.1 Lounges and Club Aspire in Terminal 3 to give you an idea of what lounging at Heathrow looks like.

No.1 Lounges at Heathrow offers a setting of sanctuary and seclusion away from the hustle and bustle of the public airport spaces. There are a variety of different seating areas allowing guests to create a lounge experience tailored to their preferences.

The general lounge area offers spectacular runway views for guests to enjoy alongside complimentary food and beverages.

Hot and cold food is offered throughout that day in the lounge Bistro, it even includes a self-service pancake machine! Guests can choose from a selection of premium beers, wines and spirits from the fully tended bar. There is also an array of soft drinks, juices and hot drinks available.

It is filled with comfortable seating options including large sofas all in a capacity-controlled environment to avoid the risk over-crowding.

There are also separate break out rooms for more privacy with quiet zones and business facilities available. If you’re after a bit more entertainment, then check out the mini cinema room that plays news, sports and kid’s films during school holiday periods.

Guests can enjoy a wide range of digital newspapers and magazines which are all available to download on phones, laptops and tablets. These are downloadable too using the lounge’s free Wi-Fi, so guests can enjoy reading them during their onward journey.

Club Aspire is just a stone's throw away from No.1 Lounges and offers just as much relaxation amidst the busyness of the airport. Guests can escape the stresses of travel and enter the tranquil environment of this luxury lounge.

The atmosphere is a bit quieter and feels more intimate than No.1, but it has all the same amenities with unlimited food and beverages available throughout the day.

The layout of Club Aspire is more open plan and has less of a view, but there is a quiet zone at the back with interactive screens that guests can use for entertainment and reading whilst in the lounge.

The unique area of Club Aspire is the shower facilities that are open to guests at a small extra fee of £20 for half an hour. There are three private shower rooms to choose from, so if you want to feel refreshed before you flight, this is definitely worth a try!
