New airlines at Heathrow

Several airlines are starting new services this spring, giving passengers more direct flights from the UK's busiest airport.

Alaska Airlines → Seattle, USA 

  • Alaska Airlines will launch daily flights between Heathrow and Seattle from Terminal 3. The new route gives travellers another easy way to reach the US Pacific Northwest.
  • Launch date: 22 May 2026
  • Frequency: Daily
  • Terminal: 3
  • Fleet: B787-9
Why visit?
Seattle is known for its waterfront, museums, green spaces and the famous Space Needle.

ITA Airways → Rome, Italy

ITA Airways will offer two flights a day between Heathrow and Rome from Terminal 2. The route gives passengers more flexibility when travelling to one of Europe's most popular cities.

Pakistan International Airlines → Islamabad & Lahore, Pakistan 

Pakistan International Airlines is adding direct flights to Islamabad and Lahore from Terminal 4. These routes provide important links between the UK and Pakistan.

  • Launch date: 29 March 2026
  • Frequency: 3 per week to Islamabad and 1 per week to Lahore  
  • Terminal: 4
  • Fleet: B777-300

New routes from Heathrow

Looking for somewhere new to visit? These routes open up even more travel options this spring.

British Airways → St Louis, USA

British Airways will start a direct service between Heathrow and St Louis. The airline is the only UK carrier flying this route.

  • Launch date: 19 April 2026
  • Frequency: Four flights per week
  • Terminal: 5
Why visit?
St Louis is known for its sports, history and the famous Gateway Arch.
 

British Airways → Tivat, Montenegro 

British Airways will also launch flights to Tivat in Montenegro. The route offers easy access to the Adriatic coast and some of Europe's most scenic landscapes.

  • Frequency: Three flights per week
  • Terminal: 3

Tivat is a great choice for beach holidays, outdoor activities and coastal views.
 

British Airways → Guernsey

Guernsey joins Heathrow's growing domestic network, making it easier to connect to destinations around the world.

Vueling will begin a daily service from Heathrow to Seville. The route gives travellers another direct link to southern Spain.
