Soar up the Burj Khalifa

What better way to view Dubai in its entirety than by soaring up the tallest building in the world, the Burj Khalifa. The dazzling building shimmers proudly in the desert sun as one of the most iconic buildings not just in the country but in the world.

There are several ways to enjoy visiting this legendary building; you can visit the ‘at the top’ observation decks on the 148th floor or head over to the Atmosphere restaurant and lounge on the 122nd level if you’d prefer more time at the top.

The best time of day to go up the Burj Khalifa is either during sunrise or sunset when you can catch a glimpse of the golden rays covering the sky and illuminating the country so exquisitely.

Pop into Burj Al Arab

Another much-loved and iconic place to visit in Dubai is the famous Burj Al Arab. Until recently, you couldn’t enter the beloved landmark unless you were a hotel guest or dining in one of the restaurants.

Now, however, they have a new ‘Inside Burj Al Arab’ experience, inviting visitors on a tour of the notable tall building. The tour includes exploring the 23-carat-gold-covered Royal Suite and the new Experience Suite that showcases the building’s unique design and history.

If you’re not keen on doing a tour, you can book a meal and dine in the Al Muntaha restaurant on the 27th floor. It has a distinctive space-age aesthetic and provides delicious French dining that you can enjoy alongside some spectacular views.

Pump up your adrenaline on an epic desert safari

Leave the skyscrapers behind and drive out of the city for a bit for an incredible desert safari experience that you can’t find in many other places in the world. Get picked up from your hotel in a Land Rover and experience some full throttle as you dune bash your way through the desert sand.

Once settled in the desert, you will be treated to some delicious local cuisine paired with some spectacular entertainment in the form of native performances and belly dancing.

The entire experience lasts around six to seven hours, during which you will enjoy the sunset in the desert with locally sourced authentic black tea and star-gaze in your own private cabana. You are then dropped off at your hotel, ensuring you end your experience in the most comfortable way possible.
