Public transport disruption to and from Heathrow: 18 - 21 August

Due to industrial action between 18 - 21 August, there will be some disruption to rail and bus services to and from Heathrow.

When planning your journey, make sure you leave enough time to get to the airport as roads may be busier than normal.

More information
Arrival times and other important information

As always, we’re looking forward to welcoming you to the airport and we’re working hard to make sure your trip runs as smoothly as possible. To help with this process, please be aware of the following:

Consider your arrival times

Allow three hours to check-in before your flight and make sure all your travel documents are up-to-date. Please do not turn up significantly early for your flight though, as this can cause unnecessary congestion in the airport and you may not be able to check in your bags.

Remove liquids from hand luggage

Remember, you can only take liquids on the plane that are in individual containers with a maximum capacity of 100ml. This includes creams, gels, pastes, aerosols and make-up.

Remove each item from hand luggage and place them all in a single transparent, re-sealable plastic bag of not more than one litre capacity. Each bag must be able to close properly with all the items inside. These bags are available free-of-charge before security. Passengers are strictly limited to one bag of liquids per person.

Terminal Drop-Off Charge

A £5 charge applies to vehicles dropping off passengers at the designated drop-off zones, located directly outside the terminals. Discounts and exemptions apply. Free drop-off is available at our Long Stay car parks.

You’ll be the star of the show when you come back from your travels with the new FAME fragrance in your luggage and a twinkle in your eye…
FAME: A quintessential expression of the brand's avant-garde style, available exclusively at Heathrow Terminal 2 departures.

Paco Rabanne’s FAME for women is a daring piece of sideboard jewellery and sumptuous new perfume in one bold bohemian package: the bottle promises to add some snappy Parisienne pizazz to your boudoir and the scent to turn heads as you dash off daringly into the night.

The FAME woman is described as “the very essence of Paco Rabanne’s femininity: radiant, self-confident and multi-faceted. She’s an icon, she’s a star, she’s fame – FAME in a bottle!”

The daring bottle design reprises some of Paco Rabanne's most iconic codes.
Not just a bottle, it's as precious as a piece of jewellery.

She wears metal, the signature material of the designer, in a chainmail assemblage of silver pastilles and a bold pair of shades that suggest power, style and confidence in equal measure.

So come on, who doesn’t want a bit of FAME in their life?

Our FAME pop-up really is the star of the show this summer.

FAME has top notes of juicy mango and bergamot with bright jasmine, sandalwood and creamy incense, with hints of patchouli and vanilla. It contains 90% natural ingredients harvested by hand using environmentally sustainable techniques and the bottle will feature an integrated NFC chip allowing consumers to access exclusive digital content.
It was created by Dora Baghriche, Marie Salamagne, Alberto Morillas and Fabrice Pellegrin and is exclusive to Travel Retail UK – including Heathrow – until Mid-August 2022.
