British Airways was created in 1973 when BOAC and BEA merged to form a single airline. In 1987 it became a private company. In 2011, British Airways merged with Iberia to become part of the International Airlines Group.
Terminal changes: British Airways flights to/from Billund, Hanover, San Diego and Zagreb now operate from Terminal 3. British Airways flights to/from Lyon, Luxembourg and Phoenix now operate from Terminal 5.
