Operational update - March 2022

The following provides an update on the number of flight movements we expect to see at Heathrow during March.

Last month we outlined how we expected between 570-960 flight movements a day during February, with numbers rising for half term as Omicron cases continued to ease and restrictions were lifted. The lowest daily number of flights in the month was 583 (26 February) and the highest was 854 (19 February), well within our predicted range.

Our forecast for March is between 790-1380 flight movements a day, with a large range due to the start of the summer schedule on 27 March and the beginning of the Easter school holidays in some parts of the country.
