A new learning and development support programme for SMEs
Aligning with our Connecting People and Planet sustainability strategies, this initiative will support our strategic objective of fostering a thriving supply chain and making positive impact on the SME community.
The programme offers a mix of in-person and virtual workshops to support SMEs in building practical knowledge and capabilities. It focuses on key areas aligned with Heathrow’s minimum procurement requirements (essential workshop), including carbon reporting, health and safety, cyber and data protection, insurance, and responsible business foundations.
The programme includes a mix of in-person and virtual workshops to help you build practical skills and knowledge.
New workshop dates will be added here as they are confirmed.
Join expert-led sessions that cover the basics of working with Heathrow as a supplier.
You’ll hear what matters, how to get started, and what to expect. There’s also time to ask questions and join small group discussions on common SME challenges.
Following the Branduin Fit To Bid® session at the Heathrow SME Academy launch, you can now view the full schedule of upcoming bid skills workshops alongside future sessions. Led by experienced procurement advisors, these interactive workshops give you the skills and confidence to write strong bids and compete for new work.
You’ll learn how to plan and write clear, effective bids, understand what buyers are looking for, and improve your chances of success. The sessions also cover how to bid for council contracts, construction and infrastructure projects, and large private sector opportunities, including Heathrow.
These workshops are designed to give you practical skills you can use straight away.
