NATS air traffic control technical issue - 8 September

The air traffic control service NATS is experiencing a technical issue which is impacting departing flights at UK airports. Arriving flights are not currently impacted. We are supporting our local NATS team in their efforts to resolve the issue as quickly as possible. We will provide updated information when we have it. We apologise to those disrupted and advise passengers to check with their airline for latest flight information.

Airside works

All works taking place in or impacting Heathrow Airside areas must be approved by the Heathrow Airside Operations Department. Applications for works are managed through an electronic permit process on the CMO platform.

To request a CMO account, please email Eng_Works_Notifications@heathrow.com requesting access to CMO Airside Works Applications with the following details:

  1.  Full name
  2. Email address
  3. Company name
