The CAA is currently consulting on the regulatory framework for Heathrow’s next regulatory period, known as H8, due to commence on 1 January 2027.

Heathrow submitted its Initial Business Plan (IBP) to the CAA in July 2025 as part of the CAA’s H8 price control review process. We have engaged extensively with airlines and wider stakeholders throughout 2024, and will continue to do so ahead of the CAA making its final decision.
