Frequently asked questions

Public consultation will be taking place for eight weeks between Tuesday 27 October and Tuesday 22 December 2026.

From Tuesday 27 October, you will be able to read all the consultation materials and share your feedback with us.

You do not need to register for an in-person public event before you come. Anyone can drop in to the events at any time during the times shown for each event.

Yes, you’ll need to register to attend an online public event. You can find registration links for each online event listed below.

You can attend any of our public events, regardless of where you live.

Our public events are drop-in style, meaning you can come along at any time between the times shown for each event. You will be able to move around the venue at your own pace, read information displayed on exhibition boards, review copies of the consultation materials and speak to members of the Heathrow team. You will be able to write your feedback down at the event and leave it in a secure box or take a feedback form away to send back to us.

Our events are drop-in sessions, so you can spend as much or as little time as you like reviewing the information and speaking with members of the team within the event opening hours.

We want everyone to be able to attend our in-person public events. You can find details of the accessibility options available at each event below, including accessible venues, quiet hours, hearing loops, translation and interpretation services, and British Sign Language (BSL) interpretation.

Any requests for translation or alternative formats will be reviewed and responded to on a case-by-case basis. Please be aware that, depending on the document length, there may be an extended turnaround period.
