Rail engineering works: 15 & 16 November

Due to planned engineering works, there will be no Heathrow Express or Elizabeth line train services to Heathrow on Saturday 15 and Sunday 16 November 2025.

Piccadilly line services from Central London will be running as normal, but these services will be much busier than normal.

Please allow for extra time when making journeys on public transport over the weekend.

The Bears are back

Everyone's favourite passengers, Doris and Edward, the Heathrow Bears are back from hibernation.

Watch Doris and Edward in their charming return to Heathrow.

Doris and Edward's bear necessities when travelling

After decades of globe-trotting, Doris and Edward have mastered the art of airport travel. Here’s their guide to making every journey paws-itively perfect.

1. Don't fur-get to book your parking

Edward is a seasoned traveller. That’s why he always pre-books his favourite Pod Parking online before he travels. With Heathrow’s unique, driverless Pods, Doris and Edward glide from the Pod car park to Terminal 5 in as little as six minutes. No stress, no fuss-just paws-itively smooth travel.

2. The whole airport in one paw with the Heathrow app

Doris is always one step ahead on her travels - that’s why she always uses the Heathrow app. It keeps her in the know with live flight updates, bag drop info, gate changes, and even security wait times. She can pre-order Edward's favourite shortbread, pick up gifts for their grand-cubs and earn rewards. Be like Doris: download the app and travel smarter (and snugglier).

3. Cruise though check-in with self-service bag drop

Edward’s a bear who likes to keep things simple. That’s why he always uses the self-service bag drop to check in his luggage. With his travel documents in paw, he heads straight to the kiosks, drops his bag, and breezes off to security. Quick and simple - just how he likes to travel.

4. The early bear gets the best buys

Doris is a bear who likes to be prepared. That’s why she uses Heathrow’s Reserve & Collect service. Before she even leaves home, she’s already picked out her favourite treats and treasures online. When she arrives at the airport, they’re waiting for her - neatly packed and ready to collect. No rushing, no rummaging, just bear-y smooth shopping, the Doris way.
