Services from Heathrow

Tickets and fares

Cash payment is no longer accepted on Transport for London buses.

Instead you can use:

A pay-as-you-go adult fare is £1.45 with an Oyster, Visitor Oyster or contactless payment card. UK-issued contactless payment cards are accepted.

Child fares

Children aged 5-18 and students may be eligible for free or discounted travel on buses and other TfL transport. For information see tfl.gov.uk/fares-and-payments/travel-for-under-18s.

Free travel around Heathrow

Some local bus services around the airport site are free.

Where to catch buses

Heathrow central bus station is located between Terminals 1, 2 and 3. The terminals are a few minutes' walk away and well signposted.

The bus station is open 24 hours a day and the travel centre is open from 06:00 to 22:30. Baggage trolleys are available and there is a lift to the underground level.
