Terminal Drop-Off Charge

From 1 November 2021, a £5 charge will apply for vehicles dropping off passengers at the designated drop-off zones, located directly outside the terminals. Discounts and exemptions will apply. Free drop-off will be available at the Long Stay car parks.

Changes to entering the UK using EU ID cards

From 1 October 2021, most EU, EEA and Swiss nationals will need to use a valid passport to travel to the UK. ID cards will no longer be accepted as a valid travel document to enter the UK, though some exemptions will apply.

    The Amtrak bus is located at the north end of the terminal, and the Morongo Basin Transit Authority (MBTA) provides a bus service to Palm Springs. Taxis and rental cars are available. Some mobile app based taxi services are also available.

    Car rental companies offering services at the airport include Alamo, Avis, Budget, Dollar, Enterprise, Hertz and National.

    Palm Springs International Airport passenger facilities include a range of restaurants, a selection of shops, a USO Service Club, a kid's play area, ATMs, currency exchange services and free wifi.

    Parking:

    Parking rates at Palm Springs International Airport start at $2 per 20 minutes and go up to $20 per day. Cell phone waiting lots are also available.
