From 1 November 2021, a £5 charge will apply for vehicles dropping off passengers at the designated drop-off zones, located directly outside the terminals. Discounts and exemptions will apply. Free drop-off will be available at the Long Stay car parks.

Changes to entering the UK using EU ID cards

From 1 October 2021, most EU, EEA and Swiss nationals will need to use a valid passport to travel to the UK. ID cards will no longer be accepted as a valid travel document to enter the UK, though some exemptions will apply.

    Full Name: Lincoln Airport
    Location: The airport is located five miles (8km) outside of Lincoln.
    Time: GMT -6 (GMT -5 from mid-March to the first Sunday in November).
    Transfer to the City:

    The easiest way to get from the airport into Lincoln is by taxi or shuttle van, both of which can be booked from the airport. In addition, the Navigator Express makes daily trips (except Sundays) between the airport and several major cities in Nebraska, including Lincoln, Omaha, York, Hastings, Kearney, and Grand Island.

    Car rental:

    Car hire companies operating from Lincoln Airport include Avis, Budget, Hertz, National, Alamo and Enterprise.

    Facilities:

    Airport facilities include luggage carts, ATMs, a mail box, public phones, a lounge, a small food court, a news stand and a gift shop.

    Parking:

    All parking areas are located within walking distance of the terminal. The first 20 minutes is free in the North and South Lot parking, which then both charge $2.50 per hour up to a maximum of $7 per day in the South Lot, and $6.50 in the North Lot. The long-term garage lots charge $3 each hour up to $9.50 per day.
