Changes to entering the UK using EU ID cards

From 1st October 2021, most EU, EEA and Swiss nationals will need to use a valid passport to travel to the UK. ID cards will no longer be accepted as a valid travel document to enter the UK, though some exemptions will apply.

  • Chattanooga Airport Guide

    Full Name: Chattanooga Metropolitan Airport
    Location: The airport is located 13 miles (21km) east of the central business district of Chattanooga.
    Time: GMT -5 (GMT -4 from mid-March to the first Sunday in November).
    Transfer to the City:

    The Greyhound Bus line 19 services the airport. Taxis, car rentals, ride sharing services, and shuttles offer means to transfer between the airport and the city. Some hotels offer free transfers to guests with advance arrangements.

    Car rental:

    Rental cars are available at the airport from Alamo, Avis, Budget, Dollar, Enterprise, Hertz, and National. Thrifty/Dollar is located offsite, but provides a shuttle service from the terminal.


    Terminal facilities include an ATM, paging services, notary services, a lost and found, and a bar and several restaurants.


    Short-term parking is free for the first 15 minutes, $2 for 30 minutes, and $2 for an hour up to $20 per day. Long-term parking is $12 per day. All lots are located within walking distance of the terminal.
