From 1 November 2021, a £5 charge will apply for vehicles dropping off passengers at the designated drop-off zones, located directly outside the terminals. Discounts and exemptions will apply. Free drop-off will be available at the Long Stay car parks.

Changes to entering the UK using EU ID cards

From 1 October 2021, most EU, EEA and Swiss nationals will need to use a valid passport to travel to the UK. ID cards will no longer be accepted as a valid travel document to enter the UK, though some exemptions will apply.

    Full Name: Brindisi - Salento Airport
    Location: The airport is located four miles (6km) from Brindisi city centre.
    Time: GMT +1 (GMT +2 from the last Sunday in March to the last Sunday in October).
    Transfer to the City:

    Buses are available from the airport to the city centre with various stops along the way. A shuttle service, Pugliairbus, is also available. Tickets are available from a ticket office at the airport, online or, in some cases, from the bus conductor. Taxis are also available.
    Car rental:

    Car rental companies represented at the airport include Maggiore, Avis, Budget, Hertz, Europcar, Locauto, Sixt and Auto Europa Sicily by Car.
    Facilities:

    Airport facilities include a nursery, shopping, ATMs, a pharmacy, a cafe and free wifi.
    Parking:

    Parking is available at the airport, with the first 15 minutes of parking free. Parking fees are €2 for up to two hours, €8 for two to eight hours, and €15 hours for eight to 24 hours.
