Terminal Drop-Off Charge

From 1 November 2021, a £5 charge will apply for vehicles dropping off passengers at the designated drop-off zones, located directly outside the terminals. Discounts and exemptions will apply. Free drop-off will be available at the Long Stay car parks.

Changes to entering the UK using EU ID cards

From 1 October 2021, most EU, EEA and Swiss nationals will need to use a valid passport to travel to the UK. ID cards will no longer be accepted as a valid travel document to enter the UK, though some exemptions will apply.

    Full Name: Montpellier–Méditerranée Airport
    Location: The airport is located seven miles (11km) southeast of Montpellier.
    Time: GMT +1 (GMT +2 from last Sunday of March to last Sunday in October)
    Transfer to the City:

    Airport Shuttle, Line 120 connects the airport to the "Place de l'Europe" Tramway Station, where connections can be made by train to the Montpellier St Roch Railway Station, and by tram to many destinations around Montpellier.

    Car rental:

    Car rental companies represented at the airport include Avis, Budget, Europcar, Hertz, Enterprise Rent-A-Car, Sixt and Autorapido.

    Facilities:

    Airport facilities include ATMs, a hotel, restaurants, bars, takeaways, shopping (duty-free shopping in departures area), a children's play area, and secure parking. The airport information desk also offers travellers assistance when needed.

    Parking:

    There are ample parking bays available at the airport, with designated areas for short stays, medium stays, long stays and very long stays. Parking tariffs range from €1.30 for a 15-minute stay, €15 for 24 hours and up to €60 in the 'very long stay' lot for 30 days.
