Terminal Drop-Off Charge

From 1 November 2021, a £5 charge will apply for vehicles dropping off passengers at the designated drop-off zones, located directly outside the terminals. Discounts and exemptions will apply. Free drop-off will be available at the Long Stay car parks.

Changes to entering the UK using EU ID cards

From 1 October 2021, most EU, EEA and Swiss nationals will need to use a valid passport to travel to the UK. ID cards will no longer be accepted as a valid travel document to enter the UK, though some exemptions will apply.

    Location: The airport is located nine miles (16km) from Lourdes city centre.
    Time: GMT +1 (GMT +2 from the last Sunday in March to the last Sunday in October).
    Transfer to the City:

    Taxis and car rentals are available for transport to the city. There is also a public bus service to the Tarbes and Lourdes stations; the fare is €2 to any destination within the Hautes-Pyrenees Department. There are also direct shuttles to ski resorts during winter season.

    Car rental:

    Car rental companies represented at the airport include Avis, Enterprise, Europcar and Hertz.

    Facilities:

    Airport facilities include a snack bar, restaurants, a meeting room and wifi.

    Parking:

    Free parking is available at the airport with 750 parking bays.
