Transport to Sapporo and other nearby towns and cities is available via rail (the JR Line from the New Chitose Airport Station) and bus. The JR New Chitose Airport Station is on the first basement floor at the domestic terminal building, while bus stops are on the first floor at both the domestic and international terminals.
A number of car rental companies are represented at the airport. As the area directly in front of the airport building is a no-parking zone, rental cars cannot be picked up or dropped off in this zone. Car rental companies also offer shuttle services to their respective offices in Chitose.
Airport facilities include a selection of restaurants and snack bars, a variety of shops, a movie theatre, information kiosks, lounges, currency exchange and banking facilities, ATMs, art exhibitions, a post office, baby changing rooms, and a clinic.
Parking for more than 3,900 cars is available at the airport.
