ULEZ expansion - 29 August 2023

London's Ultra Low Emission Zone, or ULEZ, is expanding to encompass all of Greater London, including Heathrow Airport, from the 29 August 2023.

 

The initiative, implemented by Transport for London (TfL), is aimed at reducing air pollution in London, therefore all vehicles entering the airport must meet certain emissions standards in order to avoid paying a daily charge.

 

The daily charge for non-compliant vehicles is £12.50 for most vehicles, including cars, vans, and motorcycles.

 

The charge will be in addition to any other fees or charges associated with entering the airport. The charge only applies when a vehicle is driven within the ULEZ zone, and does not apply to stationary vehicles including when cars are parked at Heathrow.

 

Please note, if you have booked Meet & Greet or Valet Parking with a non-compliant vehicle, and have selected a different exit terminal to your entry terminal, you will be liable for payment of a ULEZ charge to transfer your vehicle to another terminal.

  2. Offer valid from 00:00 (BST) on the 14th August 2023 to 23:59 (BST) on the 31st August 2023.
  3. Extra points and 10% discount will be awarded on transactional value in addition to the base points awarded under the Heathrow Rewards membership. Base points will be awarded on the transaction value, after discount. Any additional rewards promotion offered as part of the Heathrow Rewards Premium membership will only be awarded on the base points issued, not on the Extra Points offer.
  4. Extra Points will be allocated to each qualifying member’s Heathrow Rewards account within 30 days of the qualifying purchase. Where Extra Points do not appear within an account after 30 days, please contact Heathrow Rewards Customer Services.  
  5. 10% discount will be issued at time of qualifying purchase.
  6. Where any items which have qualified for this Extra Points offer are returned to the retailer, or via the Heathrow Shopper Promise, the Extra Points awarded from the promotion, base points awarded and 10% discount will be proportionally deducted from the members Heathrow Rewards account and/or refund.
  7. Heathrow Rewards physical or digital card must be presented at time of transaction to activate 10% discount and extra/base Heathrow Rewards points.
  8. Only one offer per day, in a single transaction, at each Qualifying Store is eligible.
  9. Where a qualifying transaction under this Extra Points offer may also qualify for any other Heathrow Rewards promotional offers, the Extra Points offer and 10% discount shall take precedence.
  10. This offer cannot be used in conjunction with any offer Smythson may have running at the same time as this Heathrow Rewards offer.
