Terms and conditions

We will need a team of 100 wheelchair users. Participants don't strictly need to be disabled, but everyone has to be in a wheelchair for the record attempt to count. You may be disabled but not a wheelchair user. We'll provide wheelchairs to those that need them.

If applications are over-subscribed we will hold a ballot and your application may not be successful. If this is the case we will seek every opportunity to keep your details as a reserve, or we may ask you if you'd like to volunteer to help us out on the day.

You must be a minimum of 16 years of age. All wheelchairs must be manual, i.e. self propelled - no powered chairs or chairs designed to be pushed by others are permitted.

All participants will be asked to make a health declaration to indicate that they are physically fit and well enough to take part.

You can bring a carer if you need to and there'll be enough space for a couple of family members to cheer you on as well.

There's some other legal stuff but we'll tell you about that if your application is successful.

Most importantly - if you take part, you'll be expected to raise funds for the event which will go towards Aerobility. We will give you instructions on how to set up your fundraising page once your application has been accepted.
