The 2018 CVP Awards Event was bigger and better than last year with more categories, more delegates and more excitement! This time around each of the shortlisted applicants had a brief video made of their achievements, allowing us to share success and promote best practice across the CVP community.
The event also included presentations from Heathrow Procurement Director Chris Howe, as well as an introduction to the Innovation Hub from Colin Mair, Heathrow’s Head of Innovation & Technology. The event concluded with a keynote address by Mike Mansbridge from the Office for Low Emission Vehicles (OLEV). You can view all the presentations by following this link.
The winners of our awards are listed here and you can view the videos of all the shortlisted applicants below:
- CVP Freight & Logistics Improver Award Winner – Wilson James
- CVP Airside Improver Award Winner – OmniServ
- CVP Landside Improver Award Winner – Zipcar
- CVP Innovator Award Winner – Zapinamo

In addition, the CVP Judging Panel determined that the Zapinamo initiative was the most inspiring and had the greatest potential to reduce vehicle emissions at the airport and announced them as the CVP Champion for 2018.
