  • COVID-19 Recruitment Impacts at Heathrow

The coronavirus, COVID-19, pandemic has had dramatic impacts around the world, including on the aviation industry. Passenger numbers have reduced by between 80-90% a month at Heathrow as a result of the pandemic, associated quarantine restrictions and fewer people choosing to fly right now.

Throughout the pandemic we have prioritised the safety of our colleagues and passengers. We’ve implemented a number of new measures including face coverings, perspex screens, hand sanitiser dispensers, and social distancing procedures to keep the airport safe and open.

We are proud of the role our colleagues have played in keeping vital medical supplies and passenger journeys moving during the pandemic.

As a business though, we have had to take significant action to protect our survival due to the reduction in passenger numbers. This includes cutting our spending, reducing costs, and changing the structure of our business.

During this time we are not recruiting externally but, as and when the industry begins to recover, we will need others to join us in the challenge of building back better.

Heathrow remains an exciting place to work, with no two days the same. Please do check back on this website for updates on future opportunities.
