M25 Junction 9-10 Closure: 10-13 May

Due to planned works, the M25 will be shut between Junctions 9 (Leatherhead) and 10 (Wisley) from 9pm on Friday 10 May, until 6am on Monday 13 May. A diversion will be in place, however, journeys are expected to take much longer than usual.

 

Passengers planning to use this part of the M25 should allow for extra time when travelling to Heathrow during this period. For more information, please visit National Highways’ website.

Operational update - April 2022

Heathrow
The following provides an update on the number of flight movements we expect to see at Heathrow during April.

Last month we outlined how we expected between 790-1380 flight movements a day during March, with a large range due to the start of the summer schedule on 27 March and the beginning of the Easter school holidays in some parts of the country. The lowest daily number of flights in the month was 810 (1 March) and the highest was 1086 (27 March), well within our predicted range.

Our forecast for April is between 1030-1250 flight movements a day, showing an increase on our March figures due to the start of the summer season and a broad range as a result of the Easter holidays and continued daily variation.
