Induction for managers
Our New Starter Inductions programme (now known as Team Heathrow Induction) proved so popular, we developed a separate follow-on course just for managers. The Manager Induction programme gives your management teams a more in-depth knowledge of how Heathrow operates. They’ll learn all about our additional airport services and facilities, and what is required from them as a successful manager at Heathrow.
Bespoke Customer Service and Management training
2016 saw the launch of bespoke customer service and management training. Our dedicated Development team will work with you to identify needs, design and deliver bespoke workshops and training programmes to support your operation at Heathrow.
Cultural awareness and language training
What began as a small taster to learn some basic Mandarin phrases has expanded into a highly sought after language and cultural awareness training programme. The Academy offers courses in the following languages:
Our tutors are native speakers, highly OFSTED rated and qualified to teach languages to adults. Working in small class sizes, they will introduce you and your colleagues to pronunciation, sounds, tones as well as some basic vocabulary including: numbers, directions, etc. followed by customised role specific phrases and dialogue exercises. Discussing passengers’ cultural preferences and their national characteristics enables your team to identify and capture shopping behaviour, customer habits and expectations.
